Global Fashion Takes Root on Houston Street: Four More Brands Join Wedgewood Village
Wedgewood-Houston’s transformation into a retail destination is accelerating. AJ Capital Partners has announced that four highly coveted global brands — ZIMMERMANN, STAUD, Malbon, and Eberjey — will open in its Wedgewood Village development in 2026, with each brand debuting its first standalone Tennessee location.
The new additions join an already impressive tenant roster. The brands will be joining Wedgewood Village, AJ Capital’s 18-acre mixed-use and multi-phase neighborhood in Nashville’s Wedgewood-Houston, alongside existing high-profile tenants such as Hermès and the recently opened Brunello Cucinelli.
The New Arrivals
ZIMMERMANN — The Australian swimwear and ready-to-wear retailer will open a 2,186-square-foot space at 503 Houston Street in summer 2026. Founded in 1991 in Sydney by sisters Nicky and Simone Zimmermann, the brand made its name by fusing fashion with swimwear featuring bold, original prints. Since then, its offerings have expanded into footwear, jewelry, accessories, and kids’ wear, and the brand has opened 31 stores across the U.S. to date, with Nashville as its newest.
STAUD — The Los Angeles-based label will debut a 1,742-square-foot boutique at 515 Houston Street, Suite 101, in summer 2026. Founded in 2015 by Sarah “Staud” Staudinger and George Augusto, the brand was built on the idea that great fashion should be both empowering and accessible. Design sits at the heart of STAUD, blending contemporary and timeless aesthetics; the brand currently operates 11 U.S. retail locations, including in L.A., New York City, and Palm Beach.
Malbon — The golf lifestyle brand has signed for a 2,534-square-foot retail space at 501 Houston Street, also opening this summer. Founded in 2017 by Stephen and Erica Malbon, the brand launched with a limited collection of multi-functional golf apparel and has since grown into a full line of men’s and women’s apparel, footwear, and accessories. Locally, Malbon’s Nashville location is intended to serve as a community hub combining retail with ongoing events and collaborations.
Eberjey — The sleep and loungewear brand is arriving earlier than the rest, with a 919-square-foot boutique at 1209 Brown Street opening in spring 2026. The shop will carry the brand’s full assortment, with a focus on sleepwear, lounge, bridal, and gifting, marking Eberjey’s sixth U.S. location.
Building on Recent Momentum
These four openings follow closely on the heels of another marquee arrival: luxury Italian brand Brunello Cucinelli, known for its high-end cashmere, opened a 3,650-square-foot space at 505 Houston Street in March 2026, situated directly across the street from Hermès, which opened in October 2025.
AJ Capital sees the wave of openings as a signal of the neighborhood’s rising national profile. Kyle Allen, AJ Capital’s Senior Vice President of Retail, said the assemblage of global retailers solidifies Wedgewood Village as a leading destination for contemporary fashion and culture, not just in Nashville but across the Southeast, adding that Nashville’s continued draw of major global brands marks another milestone for the city.
The Bigger Picture
The announcement marks the latest wave of momentum for Wedgewood Village, AJ Capital’s 18-acre mixed-use, multi-phase neighborhood representing more than 1.6 million square feet of residential, retail, and office space.
With ZIMMERMANN, STAUD, Malbon, and Eberjey joining Hermès and Brunello Cucinelli, Houston Street continues to cement itself as one of the Southeast’s most closely watched retail corridors — right in the heart of Wedgewood-Houston.
