Introducing the Wedgewood Houston Business Circle
A New Way to Connect in Nashville's Creative District
As Wedgewood Houston continues to flourish as Nashville's most dynamic creative district, our community's diverse businesses have become the beating heart of this neighborhood renaissance. From artisanal workshops and innovative restaurants to forward-thinking tech companies and boutique retailers, our district represents the best of Nashville's entrepreneurial spirit.
We're excited to announce the launch of the Wedgewood Houston Business Directory – a comprehensive resource connecting local businesses with residents, workers, and visitors throughout our vibrant neighborhood. This directory will serve as both a practical guide and a testament to the unique character that makes our district a destination unlike any other in Nashville.
BE AMONG THE FIRST TO JOIN!
For years, our businesses have operated as individual stars in the Wedgewood Houston constellation. Now, it's time to harness our collective brilliance and showcase the full spectrum of what our neighborhood offers.
As part of our initial efforts, we're creating a comprehensive WEHO Business Directory to promote our neighborhood's diverse offerings. All businesses in Wedgewood Houston are invited to submit their basic information for a free listing in this directory. Future enhanced listings will be available to Business Circle members. This new initiative is part of the recently formed Wedgewood Houston Business Circle (WEHO Business), a collaborative effort born from conversations among local business owners who recognized that our individual success is intrinsically tied to our collective prosperity.
The WEHO Business is designed to support local enterprises, enhance our district's unique character, and promote sustainable economic development that preserves the creative spirit that has defined our neighborhood's transformation. By participating in this directory, you become part of a larger narrative about Wedgewood Houston's evolution and future.

Together, we're building a stronger Wedgewood Houston business community.
What began as individual storefronts, studios, and offices scattered throughout this once-overlooked district has evolved into something remarkable – a vibrant ecosystem of creative enterprises that feed and inspire one another. By joining the WeHo Business Directory, you're not just listing your business; you're declaring your commitment to the collective story we're writing together.

WEHO Social Announces New Partnership with The Flamingo Cocktail Club
WEHO Social, the community initiative dedicated to fostering connections among Wedgewood Houston residents, is excited to announce The Flamingo Cocktail Club as its new official host location for community meetings and events.
The Flamingo Cocktail Club, created by renowned Nashville hospitality entrepreneurs Alexis Soler and Angela Laino (the creative minds behind Old Glory), has been a distinctive fixture in the Wedgewood Houston neighborhood since opening its doors on May 16, 2018. The venue's stylish atmosphere and commitment to community make it an ideal partner for WEHO Social's mission of redefining urban living through meaningful connections.
"We're thrilled to begin this new chapter with The Flamingo Cocktail Club, and would like to thank their general manager, Sarah Lozano" said Earnest Morgan. "Their stunning indoor and outdoor spaces provide the perfect environment for our community gatherings, while their dedication to Wedgewood Houston aligns perfectly with our vision for a connected neighborhood."
The partnership will enable WEHO Social to host regular community meetings, special events, and guest speaker series in a consistent location that offers both sophistication and accessibility to neighborhood residents.
WEHO Social would like to express sincere gratitude to Jackalope Brewery, the founding host location that supported the organization from its inception. Following Jackalope's change in ownership, they were unfortunately no longer able to support the community in this capacity.
"While we regret the circumstances that led to this transition, we're excited about the new possibilities that The Flamingo offers," continued Earnest. "Their indoor lounge and outdoor patio spaces will allow us to host a wider variety of events throughout the year and accommodate our growing community."
The first WEHO Social event at The Flamingo Cocktail Club will take place on Tuesday, May 13th, 2025 at 6:30 PM ,: featuring special guest Metro Council Member sharing a ‘State of the Metro’, and the topics that matter most for Wedgewood Houston area residents, and individuals from neighboring communities.
